Traditional nursing education often struggles to adequately prepare students for the dynamic, complex, and unpredictable situations of clinical practice. Branching path simulation approach is designed to bridge this gap to extend beyond linear and predictable scenarios by presenting students with multiple decision options, each leading to a unique sequence of events and outcomes. This method fosters clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, allowing students to experience the direct consequences of their choices in a virtual, safe environment. It also promotes a deep understanding of patient intricacies, ethical considerations, and interprofessional collaboration. This will help the students in accessing technologies that will help in real time and decision making in critical situations.
