Strong leadership in nursing is essential for enhancing the quality of health care, patient outcomes, staff morale, supportive work environment, innovations and staff retention. A good leader needs special skills like good communication, active listening, problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork. Good leadership heavily depends on teamwork, too.
