Final year nursing students need to hone up their critical thinking skills and clinical judgement to contribute towards teamwork and better patient care; in this respect, simulation-based training has important role. This research aimed to assess the impact of simulation-based leadership training on critical thinking skills and clinical judgement. In this study 600 final year BSc nursing students of the Charotar region of Gujarat were recruited. The samples were randomly allocated to both the experimental and control groups. The Critical Thinking Assessment Scale and Clinical Judgement Assessment Scale were used to gather the data. The experimental group subjects received 30 days (4-week structured programme) of simulationbased leadership training as an intervention. Findings revealed that the experimental group calculated a p-value for critical thinking skills at 0.003, and for clinical judgement, as 0.001. The provided intervention, simulation-based leadership training was found effective at a 0.05 significant level. It was concluded that the intervention, simulation-based leadership training was effective in enhancing the critical thinking and clinical judgement skills of final year BSc nursing students.
